Dr. James Prigmore is a general dentist in the truest sense of the term. He performs all facets of dentistry such as root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, limited braces, and of course, fillings.
Greatest Case Story
Although he strives to consistently provide precision dental care and demands the highest standards, his proudest moments come on a more human level. A typical example is a patient we will call “Jeff.” Jeff is a married father of two teenagers. Jeff has a leadership roll in the community and Jeff was a dental phobic. Walking in the front door would cause him to panic. He would sweat, shake, and fidget. Avoiding dental care caused his mouth to be devastated. We treated him just as we treat all of our patients. We listened to his concerns, addressed his fears and generally held his hand—metaphorically and in actuality. We started slowly with simple procedures. His confidence grew as he learned that dentistry could be painless. He is now a consistent patient—along with his wife and two children.
Continuing Education
Dr. James Prigmore has been a member of three study clubs: General Dentistry; Oral Medicine; and Implants, and takes almost double the California Board of Dental Examiners Requirement of 50 CE units every two years.
Community Service
Member of F.A.S.T. Lions Club Volunteer at the Fairfield Senior Center. Supporter of Sober-Grad night.
Personal Standards
Dr. James Prigmore's professional and ethical standards dictate that only necessary treatment is done with the precision that assures long-term dental health. We intend to prevent the need for future treatment by educating and motivating our patients in dental hygiene and proper diet.
Treating our patients as they would want to be treated, and going that extra mile to assure satisfaction has always been his credo.
